I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I hope this feedback is helpful.
Yesterday, my husband and I stopped by on a hot day, excited for some ice cream. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. There was no greeting when we came in, and the employee appeared more interested in a conversation with a young man standing nearby than assisting customers. We honestly felt like we were interrupting.
The ice cream station wasn’t very inviting either. The tubs weren’t visible, only flavor labels placed on top, and many of the toppings appeared mostly empty. When we asked about an unfamiliar flavor, the employee simply said, “I don’t know.” Only after we asked again was the container brought out for us to see.
We chose our ice cream, paid, and ate there, but what stood out most was the lack of basic customer service. No hello, no engagement, and not even a simple “thank you.”
I genuinely hope this feedback reaches the owner because the shop itself has potential. And while I wish the employee the very best, she did not seem happy to be there. Perhaps a different role would be a better fit for her strengths. We left feeling unwelcome, which was disappointing because we were truly excited to visit.
