It was an absolute great time. My wife enjoyed it and she’s not a bourbon drinker. Rod was our tour guide and he has a way of explaining the process that makes it funny and entertaining.

1st things 1st Rod is a great asset to your enterprise. Well spoken and absolute awesome educator and such a pleasure to listen too!!! My wife and I enjoyed a too short 90 minute tour and tasting! I could have stayed all day soaking up the experience. To each his own but we were pleasently surprised learning so much about whiskey the area, the business and why America is so great! Rod, Hochatown distillery please keep doing what you do!!! True patriots and what a American story! We will be back soon! A huge thank you from the Great State of Texas!

This is a must if you’re near Hochatown! We were there celebrating our 9 year anniversary! I knew my husband enjoyed their whiskey from a previous purchase but the tour was a lot of fun! Rod was so funny and knowledgeable! He was a great guide! I enjoyed the story’s as much as the tasting!! Stop by if ya get a chance!

Had a fantastic time on the Hochatown Distillery tour. The wife and I did the tour and tasting and it was definitely something we would do again. My wife is not much on bourbon drinking, but Rod made it a blast and she really enjoyed herself. The bourbon was smooth and extremely favorable. The Single Barrel was my favorite, but the Full Proof (the first offering by HDC) was a very close second - both bottles made it home with me! I look forward to the future when they will be able to offer 8-10 year old juice. Anyway, highly recommend the tour and bourbon - these folks do it right!

Tour started right on time. It was a great experience. If you’re not much of a Bourbon whiskey drinker I suggest you stick through the tasting, what the guide said is true. The 124 proof is smooth.

We had the best time ever at Hochatown Distilling Company! We did the tour and tasting yesterday, and we honestly can’t stop talking about it. I’m not even a big bourbon drinker, but it sounded fun — and wow, am I glad we went!

Our tour guide, Rod, was everything! We had no idea we were signing up for a comedy show too — he had us laughing nonstop while actually teaching us so much about the process. I’ve done a ton of distillery and winery tours (Ireland, California, Texas), and Rod was hands down the best tour guide I’ve ever had. He made it such a memorable experience.

We had an awesome group of people, too — everyone was friendly and fun, which made it even better. We ended up buying a bottle of their brand-new barrel proof release (holy cow, it’s amazing!).

Everyone who visits needs to do this tour. It’s educational, hilarious, and such a great time. I even like bourbon now… who would’ve thought?! 🥃👏
