What makes it fun

A stroll along the Friends Trail Loop Trailhead is where romance really finds its footing. This scenic 1.5-mile loop winds through Beavers Bend State Park, offering forest views, river access, and even little waterfall moments that make you want to pause and maybe event share a kiss or two. One minute you’re climbing a hill together, the next you’re strolling alongside the rushing Mountain Fork River, where the sound of the water basically sets the mood.

Great hiking trails. It is easy to moderate trails that lead to beaver creek. It is a perfect getaway. It does have some steep inclines so be ready for parts of the trails to be a little intense.

Great trail! The water was amazing! The trail is moderate I’d say. I hike weekly, and it only got a lil bit challenging depending on into the hike when we started to elevate. Chilling but the water is a great way to relax after the hike. People were even in the water, although I wouldn’t recommend that unless you’re an avid swimmer.

I loved this hike. I mean I definitely felt close to deaths door on one of the steep inclines but after a few short breaks I was good. I wouldn’t say it’s a hard hike I’m just bad at hiking in general. The water is beautiful and clear, and the views were worth the sweat. We definitely didn’t exactly follow the arrows most of the time but somehow we made it back.

Parking was very accessible
