Great atmosphere, awesome service, and solid food near Beavers Bend! My wife and I stopped in for dinner here while visiting Beavers Bend State Park, and it turned out to be a great find. When you arrive, you actually walk right into the restaurant through their gift shop. It’s not huge, but it has a nice selection of items for tourists. There was a 30- to 45-minute wait when we checked in, which was a bit of a bummer, but the hostess suggested we check the bar area for open seating. We did just that and managed to grab a table inside. The indoor dining atmosphere was very pleasant—not too loud, making it easy to have a conversation. (They also have outdoor seating with live entertainment; I stepped outside briefly to check it out, and while it was a bit livelier, it still wasn't overwhelmingly loud). To start, we ordered the guacamole and chips, and you could immediately tell the guacamole was freshly made. Very good! For our mains, my wife got the Brisket Campfire Tacos and I ordered the Pasta Louisiana (Louisiana Spicy Pasta). Coming from Texas, we're pretty picky about brisket—while it lacked a bit of the traditional flavor we're used to back home, the tacos were still pretty good overall. My spicy pasta, on the other hand, was fantastic with just the right amount of kick. Both meals offered ample, filling portions. Our total bill came out to around $72, which matched what I expected after browsing the menu online. Above all, our server Bryan was absolute top-notch—he was completely on point, and we never had to ask him for a single thing. Good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and stellar service make this place well worth a visit. We'd definitely go back!

We come to Broken bow every year and this year for my Birthday weekend I planned for my adult kids to come join us! I was so excited to go back to Abendigo’s, our experience was always amazing and I wanted to share this with my family. First off, the only steak available was the filet, second it took over an hour to get our food (yes we were a table of 8) most of the stuff my kids ordered they didn’t not have, calamari, steak sauce. Our plates were warm but the food cold, my medium rare steak was over cooked, broccolini and veggies were hard and not cook at all! The music was way to loud we couldn’t hear each other at all. I did not send the food back because I couldn’t wait another hour for a steak because they would have been closed. Very disappointed! For all 8 of us the bill was almost $500, that was NOT a $500 meal!

Really enjoyed this spot! We visited on a Thursday evening around 7 p.m. without a reservation. The estimated wait for a party of two was about 40 minutes, unless we could find seating at the bar or on the patio. Fortunately, we found a spot and avoided the wait. Our drinks and first appetizer, the calamari, came out quickly. The brisket nachos and our chicken-fried steak took much longer to arrive, but the food was absolutely delicious. The calamari was an especially generous appetizer portion—thick, tender, and juicy, with a sauce that paired really well. The brisket nachos were also very tasty and filling. By the time our chicken-fried steak arrived, we were already full and had to take it to go. It ended up being perfect for an easy meal later in the trip after a day of drinking on the lake. We also enjoyed the lively atmosphere, live band, and people watching. Service could have been a little more attentive, though it may have just been an off night. Overall, it was a fun place with great food and a memorable environment.

Should up an hour before closing . They told us they could not serve us because the kitchen could not keep up however told us we could order to go so that was not the issue apparently. I have quite frankly never left a bad review and I am service industry. It is super unprofessional they would not sit us considering they sat multiple tables after us.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Food | ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ 3/5 Seating While visiting Hochatown (just outside Broken Bow), we stopped at Abendigo’s Grill & Patio after a long day at the maze. The restaurant has a much more upscale atmosphere than most of the surrounding area. We didn’t have reservations, and the only seating available was the community table. My 10-year-old has sensory sensitivities and isn’t comfortable sitting with strangers, so this wasn’t ideal. Thankfully, no one else joined our table. For such a large restaurant in a busy tourist destination, I wish there were a few more options for walk-in guests. Once we were seated, everything else was excellent. Our waitress was outstanding and immediately replaced our drinks when we noticed they were flat. The food was phenomenal. My son said the chicken tenders were some of the best he’d ever had, and my burger was easily one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside while staying soft inside. The prices are on the higher end, but the quality matches the experience. They also have live music on most nights and an onsite gift shop similar to Cracker Barrel, which is fun to browse before or after your meal. I’d absolutely return, but next time I’d make reservations. If you’re looking for one of the best meals in the Hochatown/Broken Bow area, Abendigo’s is definitely worth a visit.

100/10 recommendation!! Kamden was our server and he rocked! Sergio assisted him and he rocked as well! We had the Kids Teriyaki Chicken, Wood Grilled Chicken Alfredo and the Loaded BBQ nachos! No crumbs were left behind!!

I wanted to like this place, based on the reviews I saw. We found out they opened at 4pm, so we specifically timed our day to make it there exactly. It was very empty, only two tables seated, and we were told there were no openings and an hour wait. I guess my face showed confusion over this, and a different person whispered something to the hostess that was speaking to me, and then she remembered that there was open seating in the bar area (duh). Our server was great, efficient, friendly. He was the best part of the meal. We ordered ribs, shrimp & grits, and brisket tacos. The ribs were alright, the shrimp and grits had 4 shrimp and lacked seasoning. I have to get on my soapbox over the brisket tacos, literally the worst I've ever had. The main reason for this is because the meat was NOT brisket, it was short rib! We're from Texas, smoked brisket is a staple around here, we make brisket in a huge smoker also for family gatherings and holidays. In addition to it not being what it was supposed to be, it was mostly big chunks of fat with a small amount of the short rib meat on it. Maybe they substituted meat that day (May 24th 2026), but it missed the mark for me. Even if the substitute was good, I wouldn't complain, but it wasn't, so I am. Also, when we left, there were still many open tables. Your snobby hostess almost cost you an $100+ tab saying there were no available tables. We won't be back to eat here on our next trip to Broken Bow.

The Sautéed Mushrooms to start were excellent! The ribeye and truffle fries are great by themselves but dipping the ribeye in the left over mushroom sauce is outstanding!!

Absolutely outstanding experience at Abendigo’s in Hochatown. We started with the Sicilian Nachos, and they were incredible — the Alfredo sauce was rich and flavorful, and the wonton chips were perfectly crisp and addictive. For the main course, I had the 16 oz ribeye cooked medium rare, and it was hands-down one of the best steaks I’ve had in years. Legitimately melt-in-your-mouth tender with amazing flavor in every bite. You can tell they know exactly what they’re doing in the kitchen. The Parmesan truffle fries were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, and even the green beans stood out — firm, fresh, and cooked just right, not underdone or mushy. The beers were ice cold, and the outdoor patio atmosphere made the whole experience even better. They had live music playing, a very chill vibe, and it wasn’t overcrowded at all. It honestly felt like the perfect place to relax, unwind, and forget about the world for a few hours. From appetizers to sides to the steak itself, everything was on point. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend Abendigo’s if you’re anywhere near Hochatown.

We went to Abendigo’s for our anniversary dinner while on a trip to Hochatown and it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a while! I highly recommend the signature topping for the steak! It was too early for live music, but we still enjoyed sitting outside and found it easy to talk even though there were a bunch of tables full around us. Plus our server was very friendly and attentive. We both got steak, so it was definitely a little pricey, but it was so delicious that it was worth the cost. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

Recommend x1000! Despite this grill and patio being bus during valentines, the sweet bartender opened up a few seats for us. Not only was the customer service friendly, the food was great! If you’re thinking about an appetizer, go ahead and get it. Worth every dollar

This was our first time to visit Abendigo’s and we will return! The food was amazing, we had the crispy blackened salmon and the ribeye (we shared since they were both outstanding) Both were cooked perfectly. Sara made us feel right at home. She was a great server and was so kind. We would highly recommend this place!

Tessa made my night! My friends and i cane from all over to celebrate birthdays and love…from the moment i walked in Tessa made sure we were taken care of well. Great conversation. Great recommendations (i ordered everything she said and LOVED it). Great photographer! 💕 Ive only been to Broken Bow twice…this is the first time I’ve enjoyed the food! The service was just iving on the cake. Happy Early BDay, Tess! Thanks for making the night memorable! *I never take to go plates…the portions here are top tier. We went early, so no live music but also no wait. Quick, friendly service. The food. OMG SO GOOD! We got the Fried Calamari, Sicilian Nachos, and the Shrimp and Grits. Everything was great. The Nachos were my hands down favorite and the shrimp and grits had a sweet and spicy sauce that combined with bacon was fantastic. We definitely found a new go-to for our annual trip up here!

This is our favorite dinner spot in broken Bow! The food is fantastic! We loved our server, Josey, Super sweet and very timely and offered her opinions on beverages and food! I love the ambience of the environment. The most, it has a ton of space and a really cool outdoor area!
